Little Laxers (Boys and Girls, K-2nd)
Little Laxers is the beginner entry program for HV Lacrosse. It is for girls and boys, K-2nd, who are being introduced to the sport. It is a great way to get your kiddo out on the field to try out this awesome game! Players are introduced to the basics of the game including cradling, throwing, catching, ground balls, and the most fun for them, shots on goal. And of course at the last session, there is always water ice and water balloons! The program runs for 6 weeks, starting at the end of April, and goes through early June (no session on Memorial Day)
2024 Dates: Sunday April 28 – Sunday June 9 (NO session May 26)
Time: 3-4p
Location: The Athletic Fields at Timberlane (behind the middle school in Pennington)
Equipment required: For the safety of your children, we require the appropriate lacrosse specific equipment for both boys and girls. Boys require a helmet, stick and mouthguard (no pads or cleats necessary) and girls require a stick, goggles and mouthguard. Again, for the safety of your children, no player will be permitted to play without the correct equipment.
Please see our Little Laxers Equipment Information page for more information on equipment requirements.
Program Fee: $100* (*$35 US Lacrosse Membership Fee not included. All players must have a valid US Lacrosse membership. During registration, you will be redirected to the US Lax site to complete your purchase)
